THE APPLICANT MUST HAVE A PROVEN RECORD OF OUTSTANDING CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTIONAL COMPETENCIES. EXPERIENCE IN STAFF DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES AND STRATEGIC PLANNING. THE APPLICANT MUST DEMONSTRATE WILLINGNESS TO OPERATE AS A TEAM MEMBER AND MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AS A TEAM LEADER AND WORK UNDER PRESSURE. THE PERSON MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS. THE APPLICANT MUST ACT AS PRINCIPAL WHEN DELEGATED TO DO SO. THE CANDIDATE MUST DEMONSTRATE A PASSION FOR EDUCATION AND A SINCERE DESIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. SHOW A KEEN INTEREST AND BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN CO-CURRICULAR, CULTURE AND EXTRA-MURAL ACTIVITIES. WILLINGNESS AND BE INVOLVED WITH SCHOOL OBLIGATIONS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL HOURS. PROVEN SUCCESS AND CAPABILITY IN COMPUTER LITERACY, INTERNET, E-MAIL, INTER-ACTIVE WHITE BOARDS AND MICROSOFT APPLICATIONS (WORD, EXCEL, PPT) ARE ESSENTIAL. TRAINED AND KNOWLEDGABLE OF CAPS CURRICULUM, KNOWLEDEABLE OF EDUCATION LEGISLATION (SASA, EEA, PSA, BCEA, LRA) AND OTHER RELATED EDUCATION POLICIES. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF ASSESSMENT AND INTERNAL MODERATION PROCEDURES. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BUDGET PROCEDURES AND SCHOOL FINANCES. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SPMDS AND EVALUATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE STAFF. THE PERSON MUST ALSO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF QMS, IQMS, AND THE PERSON MUST BE CAPS TRAINED, PREFERABLY FOR A PRIMARY SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CEMIS, HC-LMS AND SSE AND WSE. THE APPLICANT MUST HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COVID ¿ 19 PROTOCOLS FOR SCHOOLS. THE PERSON MUST BE ABLE TO MARKET THE SCHOOL AND BE EXPERIENCED IN FUNDRAISING. THE CANDIDATE MUST MANAGE LEARNER DISCIPLINE OF THE SCHOOL AND BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE PROCEDURES THAT UNDER-PIN SUSPENSION AND EXPULSION OF LEARNERS. MUST HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINE. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE ON THE LEVEL OF HOD AND/OR DEPUTY PRINCIPAL WITHIN A PRIMARY SCHOOL CONTEXT. NOMINATED CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO UNDERGO A COMPENTENCY BASED ASSESSMENT (CBA).
