THE SCHOOL SEEKS AN ASPIRING EDUCATIONAL LEADER WHO IS ENERGETIC, VISIONARY AND DYNAMIC PERSON WHOSE TALENT, WORK ETHIC, COMMITMENT, PROBLEM SOLVING AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT SKILLS WILL ADD VALUE TO THE INSTITUTION. THIS DYNAMIC CURRICULUM LEADER MUST HAVE PROVEN, ADMINISTRATIVE, MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATIONAL, LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATIVE. KNOWLEDGEABLE OF CAPS CURRICULUM, EDUCATION LEGISLATION (SASA, EEA, PSA, BCEA, LRA) AND RELATED POLICIES. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF MODERATION PROCEDURES. KNOWLEDGE OF PERMIS IS NECESSARY. KNOWLEDGE OF BUILDING BLOCKS AND SGB FUNCTIONALITY TOOLS IS NECESSARY. ABILITY TO MANAGE PMPS, SIP, AAPR, SIM SSE AND WSE IS NECESSARY. KNOWLEDGE OF SBST, SAIC, NSNP, SAFETY, T2P, SCHOOL GOVERNANCE IS ESSENTIAL. APPLICANT MUST ACT AS PRINCIPAL WHEN DELEGATED TO, MANAGING THE SCHOOL, PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF LEARNERS AT A HIGH STANDARD AND MAINTAINING AN AWARENESS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES, DEMONSTRATING ACCOUNTABILITY AND GOOD ETHICAL PRACTICE. CANDIDATE RESPONSIBLE TO MANAGE LEARNER DISCIPLINE AND DEVELOP CLEAR LEARNER RETENTION STRATEGIES, CORRECTIVE BEHAVIOUR. CANDIDATE WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF PROCUREMENT AND DISPOSAL POLICIES WRT LTSM. MANAGEMENT OF CO-CURRICULAR, CULTURAL AND HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT IN A REQUIREMENT. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF TIMETABLING AND ITS APPLICATIONS. THE DAY-TO-DAY RUNNING OF THE ACADEMIC PROGRAMME, EVEN IF NEEDED FROM OFF-SITE. CANDIDATE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THE PLANNING OF OPERATIONAL PLANS, AND ENSURE THAT SMT IS ABLE TO DELIVER QUALITY EDUCATION. ABLE TO GUIDE STAFF AND SUPERVISE THEIR WORK AND PERFORMANCE. PARTICIPATE IN SCHOOL QMS PROCESSES TO REGULARLY REVIEW PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE TEACHING AND LEARNING. CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EVIDENCE OF PROMOTING AND OVERSEEING DEPARTMENTAL, LOCAL OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEES IN ORDER TO PROMOTE QUALITY TEACHING. APPLICANT MUST DEMONSTRATE WILLINGNESS TO OPERATE AS A TEAM LEADER AND MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE. BE SKILLED IN COMPUTER LITERACY, INTERNET, E-MAIL, INTER-ACTIVE WHITE BOARDS AND MICROSOFT APPLICATIONS. APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO LEAD AS A CHAMPION WITH WCED E-LEARNING STRATEGY TO FACILITATE TEACHING AND LEARNING PLATFORMS SUCH AS MS TEAMS, GOOGLE CLASSROOM ETC. COMMUNICATE AND MEET WITH PARENTS CONCERNING LEARNERS PROGRESS AND CONDUCT. LIAISE ON BEHALF OF THE PRINCIPAL WITH GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS. MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH SPORTING, SOCIAL, CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. BE KNOWLEDGEABLE TO ASSIST THE TLO AND RCL WITH RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARD LEARNER PASTORAL CARE. TEACHING DUTIES INCLUDE CLASS TEACHING AS PER WORKLOAD OF THE RELEVANT POST LEVEL AND NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL. DEPARTMENT HEAD EXPERIENCE IS A RECOMMENDATION. APPLICANTS WITH POST GRADUATE QUALIFICATION IN LEADERSHIP AND SCHOOL MANAGEMENT WILL BE ADVANTAGEOUS. NOMINATED CANDIDATES WILL NEED TO UNDERGO A CBA.
