At least a recognised 3-year academic qualification (NQF level 7) which can be in Human Resource or Public Management, Industrial Psychology or Social Science. At least 2 years’ experience in an employee health and wellness environment. A valid Code 8 drivers’ license. Language proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing focussed Wellness Days, incorporating HIV, Counselling and Testing (HCT) and to coordinate the Provincial Employee Aids Programme (PEAP). Analyse Employee Health and Wellness data and reports on telephone counselling, face-to-face counselling, sick leave and utilisation trends. Administer the advocacy and awareness of the Employee Health and Wellness programme and services.
Disseminate monthly Wellness Information and arrange Wellness Focus Days. Provide administrative support for the Monthly and Quarterly Employee Wellness meetings with the Service Provider reports. Monitor the target and trends relating to the utilisation of the Employee Wellness services. Process monthly primary and secondary service invoices. Administer the advocacy of the Employee Health and Wellness programme and incorporate HIV, Counselling & Testing (HCT). Co-ordinate health management, including the Provincial Employee Aids Programme (PEAP) in conjunction with the Department of Health. Submit prescribed Plans and Reports for approval and monitor compliance.
