Grade 12, with 1year experience in an examinations administration environment Recommendation: Valid EB driver’s licence, Knowledge of SC, NSC and AET L4 examination policies and processes
1. Registration of candidates • Receipt, check and process all applications to AET L4, NSC and SC examinations. • Receipt and distribution of registration schedules and supporting documents. • Deal with client queries and follow-up/give feedback. • Check and distribute printed admission letters to candidates. 2. Registration of exam centres and combined centres. • Assist in the registration of combined centres. • Receipt and process applications for examination centres. • Receipt and distribution of notifications and registration stats in respect of combined centres. • Receipt and distribute preliminary and final schedules. 3. Registration of Examination Assistants • Receive, check and capture applications received from students. 4. Registration of invigilators • Receive, check and capture nomination forms and claims received from schools for appointment and remuneration of invigilators. 5. Communication with regards to examination processes • Deal with basic telephone enquiries. • Posting and distribution of admission letter, schedules and notifications. 6. General admin duties • Filing ; Franking; Faxing and Copying
Knowledge: • Working knowledge of exam mainframe and exam databases • Knowledge of directives, policies and regulations pertaining to the Senior Certificate (Report 550), Senior Certificate (Amended) and the National Senior Certificate (NSC) • Knowledge of client care and information management
