An appropriate B-degree / diploma with minimum 3-5 years relevant experience or Grade 12 with 6-10 years appropriate experience.
Ensure compliance in terms of reporting due dates and monitor report schedule. Manage auditor requests and assist in collating responses for the auditor. Keep track of correspondence and submissions issued in relation to physical resources projects. Draft correspondence and submissions as directed by senior personnel. Perform general administrative duties such as compiling a leave register and processing of leave application forms. Assist with the procurement function in the directorate including the placement of orders, receiving goods and facilitating payments.
Assist with and facilitate the payment function in the directorate. Process payments on BAS (compile, capture, authorize) and maintain proper audit trail. Support a proper filing system to document payments and related correspondence. Assist with updating a commitment register. Assist with the renewal of contracts and rental agreements.
Assist with the administrative process related to schools’ building projects and contract agreements. Assist with all property related matters, such as request to clear sites, acquisition of facilities and municipal queries. Assist with providing a facilities management function for the WCED. Monitor capital and maintenance projects related to offices and ensure that District & Circuit office needs are addressed.
