Relevant 3 year degree or equivalent, with three year relevant experience. Computer literacy.
Proficiency in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape Province.

Assist with the annual preparations for the annual consultations on the educator basket of posts and determinations of public service posts based on approved norms and standards for Ordinary Public Schools and Special Schools. Conduct research on trends on learner movements and provide strategic guidance on impact on the post provisioning norms and standards. Assist with the preparation of data. Assist with the maintenance and of the matrixes for public service posts and educator post allocations and movements. Monitor the matching and placement of excess employees. Assist with the compilation of quarterly statistical reports in respect of the Western Cape Education Department’s actual performance on the Annual Performance Plan related to public service post and educator post provisioning and utilisation. Monitor the placement of Funza Lushaka bursary holder placements in the WCED. Assist with OD interventions and compilation of submissions to the delegated authority on organisation design interventions. Maintain the WCED job description database.
